Mallory and the Maze is an interactive supernatural coming-of-age experience created in just two weeks for a Game Jam Event. It emphasizes impactful player choices, offering 2-3 hours of gameplay per session with four unique endings and a complex web of branching decisions. The game tackles childhood and teenage existentialism, highlighting human connection as a source of meaning, while shifting perspectives from nihilism to personal meaning-making. Players embody Mallory, a young hare escaping a maze against a three-day deadline. Every action consumes valuable time, prompting a choice between focusing on escape or connecting with fellow spirits.
